Terms of Service & DPA | KvikSign

Terms of service, data processing agreement (DPA), and conditions for utilizing the KvikSign electronic signature platform.

1. General Scope & Acceptance

These terms of service govern your access to and use of the KvikSign electronic signature, secure file exchange (KvikSend), identity validation (KvikID), and web form services (KvikForm). By registering an account or initiating an e-signing transaction, you agree to be bound by these provisions and our integrated Data Processing Agreement.

2. Data Processing Agreement (DPA) & GDPR

When processing personal documents on behalf of business customers, KvikSign acts as a Data Processor under Art. 28 of the GDPR. All document storage, cryptographic keys, and audit logs reside strictly on European server infrastructure with robust encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).

3. Legal Validity & eIDAS Compliance

KvikSign digital signatures executed via MitID Privat or MitID Erhverv comply with EU Regulation No 910/2014 (eIDAS) as Advanced Electronic Signatures (AES). Every finalized agreement is sealed with a cryptographically verifiable PAdES timestamp and tamper-evident audit certificate.

4. Subscriptions, Credits & Cancellation

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually without binding lock-in contracts. Pre-purchased transaction credits remain active indefinitely until consumed. Accounts can be closed at any time directly through the customer administration dashboard.
